The celebrant recommended by BARE was excellent and visited me at home before the ceremony, as were the BARE staff at the ceremony. The whole process was largely done by phone calls and emails which was my preference and there were no problems along the way. I found BARE to be an economical decision as well as providing an excellent result and recommend them to others.

After a sudden passing of a loved one we were not sure where or how to start with funeral arrangements. We had heard of BARE and decided to start there. From the very first phone call, we knew these were the people to help us. We were able to choose the type of funeral that suited both our budget and wishes without any upselling pressure. I was extremely distressed when my husband of 55years died. My relative suggested Bare Funerals as I was in no state to arrange a funeral and I just wanted to commemorate him later by scattering his ashes at his favourite fishing spot and planting a tree with our sons. Bare was able to provide a cremation and they hand delivered his ashes to me at my home. The whole process was so easy to arrange on-line and each staff member was so considerate and helpful during the process. It was especially helpful when I had a free on-line consultation with a Bare Lawyer in the comfort of my home to guide me through the period of dealing with the legal requirements afterwards. I was extremely grateful for the very low cost compared with other well-known funeral arrangers. It was also important to me to deal with an Australian company rather than a large overseas company. I lost my son Dan on the 8th December 2024..when you lose a loved one it is a tough time all round let alone trying to handle cremations and which company to go with ..We submitted an application for a quote from Bare Cremations...We received a quote along with all of the information that would be required and how their company works. Right from the first call we made to Bare when dad was still in his end of life journey, Bare provided a genuine care and support when it really mattered. Everyone we spoke to was primarily concerned with supporting us, then taking care of the things which needed to be organised. The website was easy to use and the provision of updates and information when it mattered was outstanding. I loved that Bare did the contacting of the various organisations to take care of the admin side of things, which took a huge burden off mum and our family. My mother first saw BARE Funerals advertised on T.V. - After googling BARE's five-star reviews, my family and I decided to contact them, in regard to the passing of our dearly departed and beloved Grandma, for her funeral arrangements. Our funeral arranger, Jessica Garner was very empathetic and offered support throughout the entire process, without any hesitation. Jessica's warm and comforting presence made the process a little less overwhelming and a little less stressful. Every question and enquiry was handled delicately, promptly and precisely. BARE's online process was easy to navigate and use with their online dashboard. The online dashboard gives you step-by-step updates, where you can manage tasks, access a range of support and stay updated on the status of your loved one's arrangement. There was no upfront payment required, or hidden fees. The costs were fairly priced, and invoiced/totaled at the completion of the service. My family and I would like to personally thank Jessica Garner and the BARE team for their commitment to excellence in customer care and service. BARE lives up to their Moto "Hard, made easier." - making one of the hardest times of life that little bit easier, and making goodbyes simpler, more personalised and way more affordable for all Australians. I have so many wonderful things to say about my experiece with Bare during one of the most terrible times I've been through. Before my father in law died he gave me the details of Bare and told me to use them when he passed. We were concerned that he had picked Bare just because he did not want us to have to contribute large amounts of money to look after him when the time came because when we looked at packages with other companies there were huge differences. But we decided to honour his wishes and I fully expected that we would need to just accept that we were going with what I thought was the "budget model". I was so very wrong. We did save a lot of money going with Bare, but we also got excellent service and care throughout the whole process. They made every difficult day, every difficult decision easier. Becc from their team was assigned to us from the very beginning and she was so very kind and patient. She checked in on us regularly just to see how we were feeling, gave us regular updates on what was happening logistically, talked to me about what I needed to do now, soon, later and then helped me through each step continually asking how she could help us on that particular day. There were text messages, phone calls (when it was suitable for me), emails, a dashboard I could log into whenever I had the energy to go in which was updated all of the time with what was happening. This care and attention was all given before I paid anything. It was just how they operated. I am so genuinely thankful and impressed by Bare, I will be most definately giving others in the future around me their details with confidence to help them through losing a loved one.

I always planned to use Bare for my Mother-in-Law who was dying of Stage 4 cancer. Despite having a long time to prepare mentally, it was still a shock when she left us. Bare were so easy to deal with. They were quick, efficient and compassionate throughout. They took care of things I didn't realise they would such as advising Centrelink and they got us the Death Certificate in just 2 weeks. Bare were great to deal with and I would/will use them again .
