My mum died recently in Taree NSW after a late diagnosis of terminal brain cancer. Brodey and his team stepped in and took great care in stepping me through the process and keeping me in the loop at all times. Kelley, the funeral director, was outstanding - her kindness and skill made a very difficult time for me much easier. Thanks Brodey, Kelly and the Bare team.

My parents recently passed away 28 days apart. We had pre paid cremations with bare. They took care of everything totally hassle free. Great communication at a difficult time. We never had to chase them for a thing. Highly recommend.

Bare Funerals & Cremations were so comforting & helpful from my first point of contact when my brother passed 😢 They respectfully took the reins & guided me ever so compassionately & were always available by phone & email. I would like to sincerely acknowledge and express my deep gratitude for the exceptional care and support provided by Elle during one of the most difficult times in my life. From the very beginning, Elle demonstrated remarkable compassion, empathy, and professionalism while assisting with the care of my mum and supporting me through my grief. Throughout the entire process, Elle made what could have been an overwhelming and distressing experience feel seamless and manageable. Her calm and reassuring approach removed much of the stress and uncertainty, which was invaluable while I was in such a vulnerable emotional state. Elle was consistently kind, patient, and understanding, particularly during our conversations when I found it difficult to hold myself together. She allowed me the space to process my emotions while gently guiding me through the necessary steps. Her thoughtful follow-up emails and genuine check-ins meant more than I can adequately express, they restored a sense of faith in humanity and showed how much of a positive impact a caring individual can have, even as a stranger. I would also like to recognise the wider team, all of whom I found to be equally supportive, respectful, and compassionate in every interaction. The dignity and care shown in returning my mum into my care will never be forgotten. This organisation has demonstrated an exceptional standard of service, allowing me to focus on grieving and honouring my mum without the added burden of navigating complex formalities. I used Bare for my husband recently. They were absolutely amazing, respectful and supportive. I gave my husband's details to Bare about six weeks before he passed and i received several emails,checking on my husband's health, and my own well-being. The communication regarding all aspects of the retrieval of my Darling's body, to cremation details and delivery of ashes was amazing, and so respectful. In fact, nearly four months later I have been reminded by email that I can still access free counselling and simply need to reach out if I want to talk to someone. Bare are very supportive and really help you. I have been involved with organising catholic funerals, but my mother-in-law wanted a very simple cremation. The quote I received from Bare was detailed with a definite price, whereas a Funeral Director gave me an over the phone quote saying "it could cost x but also could go up". As a daughter-in-law trying to help the family, the Bare quote was straight forward. The process after the passing of my mother-in-law was amazing. Bare contacted me via phone and email. I was given a check list of things that needed to be done, including contacting Centrelink. The staff are wonderful and are great listeners and organisers. Everything I raised with them, they were able to address. They also had genuine concern for my welfare (which was amazing). Another great thing was being able to complete a tribute then upload it to Facebook- wow! At the end of the process I have reflected that the family and I were NEVER overwhelmed with any aspect of my mother-in-law's cremation. I recommend Bare to any person - family member, in-law - the whole process was easy, comfortable AND comforting. Thankyou to all the staff.

The people at Bare were amazing. They did everything for me I didn't have to go out to see people when I was confused, angry and sad at looseing my Husband. Everything was done either by phone or email, my son only had to go and pick up his ashes and bring him home to me. They sent me the web site so that people that could not be there could watch. You get to do everything from home.They have venue's if you wish to have a wake after the service at a reasonable price.

Couldn’t fault Bare with my Uncles funeral. I even received a beautiful card from them on his 1 year anniversary which was unexpected. I now have a funeral plan for myself with them. Wonderful company full of compassion and efficiency.

In the last few years I have had to organise a two cremations for a couple that were friends that had no family here in Australia. I wish I had known about Bare. My Dad passed away a few weeks ago and he had prepaid a cremation with Bare. They were so supportive of my step-mum through every step, even ringing her to check up on how she was coping after dad passed. The presentation of dad’s remains were absolutely beautiful. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone. Thank you for the way you took care of my dad.

The experience I had with BARE on the passing of my wonderful Mum was exceptional. BARE handled each step of the process from initial phone call to delivering my Mum's ashes in a professional and compassionate way. Being able to complete paperwork online at home when it suited me was excellent. Everyone I dealt with at BARE from Elle who was my dedicated arranger to the person that picked my Mum up when she passed to the person that delivered the ashes was professional and compassionate. There were no hidden costs and it was cheaper than using a traditional funeral home. BARE was so much better than the traditional way of arranging things, cheaper, flexible and compassionate.

this was our first experience using a funeral company, we were referred to Bare by a family friend, I had looked into some other larger business and was shocked by some of the pricing structures. We decided to proceed with Bare and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish, our dedicated person was so professional and caring was was available for any questions that we had. The dashboard they set up for you is a great tool to use and in the comfort of your family home which took away alot of the stress, the checklist was also invaluable in helping us to check we were covering all bases. We had cremation service only but I am sure the other options they offer would be just as good. My dads ashes were also hand delivered back to us by a bare representative. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company from a cost perspective and service. Well done to the whole team and thank you. A J
